Maya Cortez has been benchmarking proxy infrastructure since 2019, first as a contract engineer at two e-commerce data firms and later leading the test-rig automation at ProxyLook. She owns the single AWS t3.medium runner in eu-west-1 that hits Google SERP, Amazon, and Cloudflare-fronted retailers nightly at 02:00 UTC, plus the calibration logic behind every success-rate and P95-latency number on the site. Maya wrote the residential-vs-datacenter taxonomy in the ProxyLook glossary and reviews most enterprise residential vendors herself. Outside ProxyLook she contributes to the Crawlee open-source project and speaks at the annual Web Data Summit.
