What we think after testing 911Proxy
Editorial review by Maya Cortez · last tested Jul 2, 2026
911Proxy positions itself as a high-volume, low-cost residential proxy vendor, advertising a 90M+ real-device IP pool spanning 195+ countries with country, state, city, and ISP-level targeting. The product line covers rotating residential, unlimited residential, long-acting ISP, static residential, and static datacenter proxies, accessible over HTTP and SOCKS5 via Windows/macOS/Linux clients, browser extensions, and API. Headline pricing sits at the value end of the market — entry traffic plans land near $0.20/GB after promos — which makes it attractive for cost-sensitive scraping and account-management workloads. The live site renders all prices client-side, so treat specific figures as indicative.
The brand name is its biggest liability. The original 911.re was a notorious residential proxy service that shut down in July 2022 after a breach, and was widely reported to have built its pool through bundled malware-style SDKs. The current 911proxy.com does not address this lineage anywhere on its site — there is no about-us page, no founding year, and no disclosure of IP-sourcing or consent practices. The operating entity is listed as Shengtian Network Technology Co., Limited in Hong Kong. The reuse of the "911" name, whether a relaunch or unaffiliated rebrand, is something buyers should weigh carefully and not gloss over.
On capability, the offering is competitive on paper: claimed 99.5% uptime, unlimited concurrent sessions, sticky and rotating modes, 24-hour sticky IP windows, granular geo-targeting, and an included Web Scraper API. The self-service dashboard, multi-OS tooling, and 24/7 support are standard table stakes that 911Proxy meets. For high-volume general scraping, sneaker/retail, ad verification, and SEO monitoring, the price-to-pool ratio is genuinely strong.
The caveats matter for risk-sensitive use. Opaque IP sourcing, no published compliance or KYC posture, and the inherited reputational baggage make this a poor fit for regulated industries, PII-adjacent targets, or anything requiring auditable supply-chain ethics. Performance on hardened targets (major retail anti-bot, social platforms) is typically inconsistent on budget pools, and success rates will trail tier-1 providers. Bottom line: Cheap, large, and broadly located — fine for cost-driven general scraping, but the unaddressed 911.re history and sourcing opacity make it a calculated risk, not a safe default.
