The verdict

Benchmark data and published specifications — here's where IPFoxy lands.

What we like
  • Wide product range: rotating residential, dedicated/ISP residential, datacenter IPv4 and IPv6, plus 4G/5G mobile
  • Low entry pricing - rotating residential from $1.99/GB and datacenter IPv6 from $3.99/month
  • Offers datacenter IPv6 proxies, which many competitors do not
  • Both HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 supported, with a developer API, dashboard and sub-accounts
  • City-level targeting and sticky/rotating session options on rotating residential
  • Accepts cryptocurrency alongside cards (fourteen payment methods listed)
  • Free trial available, and verified compatibility with AdsPower, Multilogin and Dolphin{anty}
Watch outs
  • Advertised pool sizes are inconsistent across its own pages (40M / 50M / 70M) and far above independently-probed figures
  • Restrictive policy: states it does not support returns or exchanges once proxies are sold; refunds only case-by-case after verification
  • Country coverage is uneven - 200+ claimed overall but only ~25+ for dedicated residential, with thin Middle East/South America nodes
  • Thin and mixed independent review base; some Trustpilot complaints allege misrepresented IP origin and refund refusals
  • No independently-verified performance data; published success/uptime figures are vendor- or affiliate-sourced and conflict

What we think after testing IPFoxy

Editorial review by Maya Cortez · last updated Jul 16, 2026

IPFoxy is a proxy provider that, according to its website, is headquartered in Hong Kong and has operated since around 2021. It positions itself as an "enterprise-grade international proxy service provider" aimed primarily at multi-account operators, social-media matrix managers, e-commerce sellers, ad verifiers and data-collection teams. Its branding leans heavily toward the anti-detect-browser crowd, and the company advertises tested compatibility with tools like AdsPower, Multilogin and Dolphin{anty}.

The product line is broader than many boutique providers. IPFoxy markets five distinct categories: rotating residential proxies, dedicated (ISP-style) residential proxies, datacenter IPv4 proxies, datacenter IPv6 proxies, and 4G/5G mobile proxies. The IPv6 datacenter option is genuinely less common in this market, and the explicit split between "dedicated residential" (a static, one-customer ISP-sourced IP) and "rotating residential" (a large shared pool) is a sensible distinction for account-management versus scraping workloads. The site emphasizes exclusive, one-time IP allocation per customer on its dedicated products, framed as a way to avoid the IP reuse that triggers platform bans.

On pool size, IPFoxy's own marketing is inconsistent, which is worth flagging. The homepage cites "70 million+ high-quality IP resources" and the pricing page references a "70 million live IP pool" for rotating residential as well as "70 million real mobile device IPs." Elsewhere the same site and its review partners quote 40 million IPs across 200+ countries, and a separate 50M+ figure for rotating residential specifically. Independent directories that run their own probes report far smaller effective pools (single-digit millions) and narrower country coverage than the 200+ headline. As with most of this industry, treat the advertised pool numbers as marketing ceilings rather than verified, simultaneously-online counts. Geographic coverage is broad on paper (the site claims 200+ countries and regions), though the dedicated residential product lists a much smaller footprint, around 25+ countries, and reviewers note thin coverage in regions like the Middle East and South America.

Pricing is straightforward to find on the public pricing page. Rotating residential is the cheapest entry point at $1.99/GB, mobile proxies start at $2.79/GB, datacenter IPv6 from $3.99/month, datacenter IPv4 from $4.99/month, and dedicated residential from $7.99/month. Static products are sold on duration tiers (30/90/180/360 days) with stacking discounts, advertised at roughly 5% off for 90 days, 10% for 180 days and 12% for 360 days. The site lists fourteen payment options via logos, including major credit cards and cryptocurrency, so crypto is accepted. There is a referral/affiliate program. On the data plane, IPFoxy supports both HTTP(S) and SOCKS5, offers a developer API plus a dashboard, supports sub-accounts, and advertises city-level targeting on rotating residential along with sticky-session rotation cycles. It claims 99.9% network uptime and 24/7 support.

A free trial exists: reviewers describe a 3-day trial that includes one dedicated IPv4 and one IPv6 when selecting the Shared Zone within the dedicated IPv4 package. Refund policy is the weak spot. IPFoxy publicly states it does not support returns or exchanges once proxies are sold (its stated rationale is abuse prevention), and only offers refunds on a case-by-case basis after support verifies an IP is genuinely unusable. There is no clear money-back window, so the file lists no refund-days figure.

Reputation is mixed and should temper any purchase decision. Product Hunt and several YouTube/setup reviews are positive on ease of setup, speed and clean IPs for social-media work. G2 shows a ~4.4 rating from a small number of reviews, and Trustpilot sits around 4.0-4.2. However, Trustpilot also carries pointed complaints, including at least one accusing IPFoxy of selling Chinese datacenter IPs at residential prices and refusing a refund on a banned static residential IP. The volume of independent reviews is low, and many of the glowing write-ups appear on affiliate or partner sites, so confidence in the more enthusiastic claims is limited.

IMPORTANT on performance: I did not lab-test IPFoxy. The provider advertises 99.9% uptime, and third-party/affiliate reviews quote figures like 99.4% availability for static residential, 98.7%-96.2% success rates, and ~1.1s response times, but these are vendor- or affiliate-published numbers, not independently verified, and they conflict with one another. They should not be read as benchmarks. The success-rate, response-time and uptime fields are left null in the structured data for that reason.

Who is it for? IPFoxy is a reasonable shortlist candidate for account-farming, social-media matrix management, anti-detect-browser users and small-scale e-commerce/ad-verification work, especially anyone who specifically wants IPv6 datacenter or one-customer dedicated residential IPs. It is less ideal for buyers who need transparent, independently-verified pool sizes, generous refund terms, or deep coverage in less-common regions. Given the no-return policy and mixed refund reports, the sensible path is to start on the trial, validate the exact IPs you'll use against your target platforms, and scale only after the IPs prove clean.

How to get started with IPFoxy

A 5-minute walkthrough from sign-up to your first successful request. Total setup time: ~10 minutes.

  1. 1

Sign up + verify your account

Create a IPFoxy account at https://ipfoxy.com. Self-serve access is usually available immediately.

  2. 2

Pick a proxy type and tier

Use the dashboard to choose between Residential / ISP / Datacenter. Start with the smallest plan to validate your workload before scaling.

  3. 3

    Generate auth credentials

Set up either an IP-whitelist auth or username:password pair from the dashboard. Save the proxy hostname + port into your scraper or browser config.

  4. 4

    Configure rotation + sticky sessions

Decide between rotating-on-every-request (best for SERP scraping) or sticky sessions (best for account-based workflows).

  5. 5

    Test with a real workload

Run 100-500 test requests against your real target before paying for volume. Compare success rate to IPFoxy's claimed rate before committing to an annual plan.
